Why Your Website Needs A Privacy Policy Page (And Other Legal Pages Too)

It is important to provide your customers and site visitors with as much information about your business and the products and services that you offer as possible.  Along with this, however, it is important to back up any claims that you make with the proper legal pages, which should include:

  • Privacy policies (detailing the type of information that your website may collect, what it is used for, and how much, if any, information is made available to third parties like advertisers.)
  • Disclaimers
  • Patents And Copyright Notices (to protect your ideas, logos, and information)
  • Terms and Conditions

How you structure and combine this information is up to you, but the bottom line is that without it, your website, business, logos, information, etc. are all at risk of being copied, stolen, or even brought under legal scrutiny.   If your website doesn’t include this information, and you are unsure of how to add it, contact us. We’re here to help.
