They say that first impressions are everything, and that you only get one chance to make a good one. With that in mind, and in the spirit of the new year, now is the time to take a good, hard, objective look at your existing website design and navigation.
Ask yourself the following questions:
- Does my website load up quickly? Are there any broken links on the homepage?
- Is my website visually appealing?
- Is the content on my website original?
- Is my website easy to navigate? Are there any broken links within the navigation?
- Does the design of my website relate to my business?
- Is the information on my website accurate? For instance: your business address and phone number, the products you have for sale, and the descriptions of services you provide.
If you’ve answered “no” to any of these questions, now is the time to consider a website redesign. Nothing says “professional” like a clean, polished website that loads up quickly, is easy to navigate, and contains the most up-to-the-minute information. Conversely, nothing says, “don’t trust this company” like a website that doesn’t meet this criteria.
In today’s competitive market, as more and more people rely on the Internet as their primary source of information and answers, can you really afford not to have a website that stands out from the competition?
