Get a Better One in 4 Easy Steps
When you create a Facebook Page, you usually end up with an ugly URL like this one:
http://www.facebook.com/privacy/?ref=mb#/pages/San-Diego-CA/future-ink-Website-Design-Development/56445477006?
Just imagine trying to tell someone how to find you on Facebook using that link. Not only is it hard to remember, but it’s difficult to use.
This blog will show you how to get a custom URL (Facebook calls it a username) so you can turn that monster URL into a short, memorable one like this: http://www.facebook.com/futureink.webdesign
1. Make sure you’re logged into Facebook and go to: http://www.facebook.com/username
2. Click the link: “Set a username for your Pages”
3. Select the Page that you want to target
4. Click the button: “Check availability” – This next step will let you enter the new URL name you want.
